System Administrator Appreciation Day 2026

The end of July is here once again and it’s time for celebration!

It’s my first year celebrating sysadmin day and thought I should do something special, so I baked an orange cake (with the recipe from Urbaani Vegenda by Tiina Tohu).

As I’ve been trying out OpenBSD and also wanted a systems logo on the cake, I tried doing the fun Painted drawing of Puffy (by Theo de Raadt, and other members or developers of the OpenBSD group) out of sugar paste. All turned out pretty good for a first time I think :-)
